# Edit message

Edits a bot message.

**Permissions**

To be able to edit a message, the bot must have the permissions **View Channel** and **Send Messages**, just as when it sends them.

## Command

Right click a bot message. Apps > Edit message

## Action

Edits an existing message from the bot.
